The function of the oil core of Sullair Oil Separator:

 

After the oil and gas mixture from the main engine enters the oil separator, it rotates at a high speed along the outer wall of the outer cylinder of the filter element, mechanically centrifugally separates and strikes the wall baffle provided in the separator to reduce the flow velocity and form a large oil droplet. Due to the weight of the oil droplets themselves, most of them settle to the bottom of the separator. 2) As a storage tank for the compressor, store the lubricant. 3) Perform fine separation. - Primary filter and secondary filter. The oil and gas mixture entering the tank body is separated by centrifugation, impact separation, and then passed through the two filter elements for fine separation, and a small amount of lubricating oil remaining in the compressed air is separated and accumulated at the bottom of the filter element. Then, through the two return pipes, return to the intake port of the main engine and inhale the working chamber. 4) Voltage regulation. If the gas supply is clearly oily and the return line filter, check valve and orifice are in normal condition, replace the oil separator filter. Specific steps are as follows:

 

1 Use a band wrench to remove the old filter element.

2 Clean the mounting surface.

3 Apply a thin layer of lubricant to the surface of the new filter rubber seal.

4 Rotate the filter element with a hand or a belt wrench until the seal ring contacts the oil separation seat. After the lock torque is suddenly increased, tighten the filter element 1/2~3/4 turn.

5 Reboot and check for leaks.
